ANTHONY MICHAEL MARTINEZ is a NYC-based actor who has performed Off-Broadway, regionally, and abroad! Anthony is currently playing as Will Shakespeare in Illinois Shakespeare Festival's Shakespeare In Love, directed by Marti Lyons. Most recently he performed in Folger Theatre’s Antony & Cleopatra, directed by Robert Richmond.

Anthony is a teaching artist for Classic Stage Company, The Shakespeare Society, New York Theatre Workshop, Red Bull Theater, and The Leadership Program (TLP). He has taught Shakespeare and acting workshops for high school and middle school students in NYC for over four years (Take Lessons).
He holds a MFA in Acting from Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Academy for Classical Acting at The George Washington University,and a BA in Theatre from Florida State University.
